  • Michael M. Barth, Georgia Southern University, as NAIC Research Director helped to develop the risk-based capital requirements. 
  • Laline Carvalho, Standard & Poor's , frequently offers analysis of insurance market trends and developments. 
  • Howard Carver is Chairman of the International Insurance Foundation.
  • Ernst Csiszar, President & CEO, Property Casualty Insurers Association, was President of NAIC and chaired IAIS Reinsurance Subcommittee.
  • Robert Gibbons, Executive Director and President, International Insurance Foundation, has written widely on insurance accounting and finance and recently drafted the IAIS Core Curriculum module on Investments. 
  • Knut Hohlfeld was Geman Insurance Supervisor and the first Secretary General of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors. He now directs the PROGRES research program of  The Geneva Association.
  • W. Jean Kwon teaches at St. John’s University School of Risk Management. Previously he taught at Nanyang Technological University. As Director of Special Projects for the Monetary Authority of Singapore, he helped to develop the risk-based capital requirements for Singapore insurers.
  • Pietro Masci is Chief of the Infrastucture and Financial Markets Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, heading the project to promote regulatory harmonization and strengthening of private insurance markets in Latin America. 
  • Ruben Mendiolaza is Chief of the Financial Examinations of Insurers for the SBS of Peru
  • David Nickerson is the Director, Chicago School of Real Estate and holds the Marshall Bennett Chair in Real Estate at the Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration, Roosevelt University. He has published several articles on capital requirements for various types of financial institutions.
  • Hung Q. Tran is Deputy Director of International Capital Markets at the International Monetary Fund.
  • Ian Webb is Research Director of the International Insurance Foundation.
