![]() Brazil's New Insurance Market Seminar and Reception Although for 60 years Brazil's insurance market has been controlled by the reinsurance monopoly, now the market is opening to private reinsurers, creating many opportunities for innovation and expansion of insurance in one of the world's largest countries. To learn the best practices of the U.S. insurance market, a delegation of 19 government officials and insurance executives is coming to Philadelphia the first week in September for a Seminar organized by the International Insurance Foundation.
